A day in the life of a Morris Dancer was an article that was published in the Bolton Evening News in 1983. It was one of a series of articles by a reporter who sampled different activities and jobs etc. (I wonder if that's where TV pinched the idea from?) You can read it here.
Radio Times listing for the Children's TV series Gruey
This episode was about Gruey and friends following ley lines one of which apparently went right down the middle of our set on Victoria Square! Here's the appropriate Rumworth relayed content:
An article of (currently) unknown date from the local Wigan press
Article about our visit to Antwerp in 1997 (Extracts from Morris Ring Circular Number 31 Spring 1998)
An article about Rumworth in the Morris Federation Newsletter, Spring 2017
Other press cuttings
