Constitution
1. Name
The name of the club shall be "The Rumworth Morris".
2. Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the club shall be to conserve, collect and perform the North West Morris.
3. Committee
1. The Club shall be run by a committee of up to six (6) full members.
2. The Committee shall appoint its own members
3. The Committee shall appoint one of its members to act as Chairman.
4. The Committee shall be responsible for all matters concerning the Club except the dancing.
4. Officers
1a. Conductor
i. The Conductor shall be responsible for all matters concerning the dancing
ii. He shall be elected triennially by a majority vote of Full Members present at the Annual General Meeting
1b. Secretary
The Secretary shall be elected annually by a majority vote of Full Members present at the Annual General Meeting
1c. Treasurer
The Treasurer shall be elected annually by a majority vote of Full Members present at the Annual General Meeting

i. All officers shall be eligible for re-election.
ii. Only Full members shall be eligible to stand for election.
iii. The Secretary and Treasurer shall be members of the Committee.
5. Membership
1. New members shall be accepted into the Club at the discretion of the Committee for an initial period of six (6) months during which time they will be termed "Apprentices".
2. It shall be a condition of Apprenticeship that this Constitution be read and accepted in full.
3. At the end of the six month period the Committee shall either offer full membership on payment of One Pound (£1) or shall terminate the Apprenticeship.
4. The Committee shall have the power to extend the Apprenticeship.
6. Termination of Membership
a. Committee Members
Committee Members may be removed from the Committee by the unanimous vote of all other Committee Members. They shall retain Full Membership of the Club.
b. Full Members
By a majority vote the Committee shall have the power to terminate the membership of any Full Member, giving one month's notice in writing.
7. Meetings
a. Committee Meetings
i. Committee Meetings shall be held as necessary
ii. A quorum at Committee Meetings shall be two-thirds of the Standing Committee.
b. General Meeting
i. The Annual General Meeting shall be held on the Thursday nearest September 21st or on the Third Thursday after the final tour of the season, whichever shall be later.
ii. A quorum at General Meetings shall be one half of the Full Members
8. Subscriptions
Subscriptions shall be levied at the discretion of the Committee
9. Interpretation
The Committee's interpretation of this Constitution and any points not covered by this Constitution shall be final.
